Interim Property Tax Bill: Toronto City
Users generally must pay in three instalments for interim and final property tax bills. The interim bills were mailed to the users in January. On the other hand, the final bills are mailed in May.
Pre-authorised Tax Payment (PTP) Tax Bill
Under the pre-authorised tax payment bill program, the financial institutions, by default, withdraw your property tax payments from your bank and any other financial institutions (if any). You can also forward the same on scheduled withdrawal dates. You can choose out of the three plan options:
- Two instalments
- Six instalments
- 11 instalments
Interim bills are usually mailed in January, while the final bills are sent through an email in May.
Mortgage Tax Bills: What You Should Know
If the property bill is cleared on behalf of the owner or a mortgage company, the tax bill (interim or final) will be directly mailed. Also, the property owners will receive the final property bill copy for their respective records.

You can easily access a re-print of a property tax bill for a minor fee. You only need to contact a customer service personnel and request the same.
Property Tax Account Statements: Interim and Final Billing
For accounts with an overdue balance, a property tax account statement is issued for both interim and final bills.

- Final Billing is done after the July tax due date and the September tax due date.
