Lakeside Residences is a development project undertaken by the Greenland Group in Greater Toronto area. This is one of the many new condo developments currently active in the area, but that did not stop it from being the most buzzed about project in the East Bay front neighbourhood. The master-planned project is to be carried out by the urbanization of the previous FedEx Warehouse property. Greenland Group has confirmed that this project will have 3 towers for mixed use purposes. This high rise project will have 14, 39, and 49 storey buildings, which will house over 1100 units. This project will be designed by Hariri Pontarini, who has won many competitions – both local and international. The design of the finished buildings will closely reflect the sailboats of the nearby harbour. This is the most accommodating condo that has been built by far from Greenland Group.

Lakeside Residences offer 1, 2, and 3-bedroom living quarters among their 1148 units. The average floor areas of 1 BHK apartments are 560 sq. ft., and have an average selling price of $560,000. The 2BHK flats come for an average of $ 614,000, and have an average floor area of 620 sq. ft. The 3BHK apartments have an average selling price of $1122 per sq. ft., which puts their total price to roughly &1,200,000. They have an average floor area of 950 sq. ft. This project also offers 1.5B and 2.5B apartments as well.

This project is currently under construction, and will be completed by the fall of 2021 approximately.

What are the amenities available here?

 

Lakeside Residences will have a lot of amenities in the neighbourhood by the time the construction is finished. There are many schools and colleges nearby like the George Brown College, the Market Lane Junior and Senior Public School, the Aveda Institute, St. Michael’s Catholic School, CMU College of Makeup Art & Design, and the Ryerson University.

There are lots of parks around the complex as well, along with beaches, and harbours. The Sugar Beach Park, Sherbourne Common, David Crombie Park, Cherry Beach, Berczy Park, and the Sugar Beach are all close by.

This is not the end of the list, as there are many entertainment and eateries available as well. Harbour front Centre, Market Square Cinema, The Young People’s Theatre, Water’s Edge Promenade, St. Lawrence Library, Market lane Community Centre, Loblaws, Moxie's grill, LCBO, and St. Lawrence Market.

Lakeside Residences is located on the Lakeshore Boulevard E in Greater Toronto area. The neighbouring area has a walk score of 93/100. It only takes 15 minutes to get to the Union Subway station, and the Go transit. The 75 Sherbourne bus will be available right from outside the gate. The 504 King Streetcar is available every day all the time. The Gardiner Express Way is only 20 minutes out, which is a big plus for people who would be driving in and out along the Lakeshore Boulevard E.
